Integral project #3 of Russian Academy of Sciences

Nowadays active researches on creation of hypersonic air/space vehicles are carried out in Russia and abroad. The occurrence of such vehicles would allow to expand opportunities of aircraft essentially and to bring down specific cost of delivery of cargoes to the near-earth orbit.

In 1996 the researches of ICM SB RAS, ITPM SB RAS and Krasnoyarsk State University have developed the concept and have received the patent of Russian Federation for a scramjet and its mode of operation.

The purpose of the given project is the development of a complex scramjet model with MHD-control of the gas flow in the combustion chamber.
