The Institute plays an integrating role in realization of complex researches on geoinformation technologies and ecological safety by the Institutes of Krasnoyarsk Scientific Center (KSC) of Siberian Branch of Russian Academy of Sciences. Together with Institutes of Wood, Biophysics and Presidium of KSC Krasnoyarsk Regional Information Center of Siberian Branch of Russian Academy of Sciences, which now works successfully, has been created.   1. Expert geoinformation systems for Regional and City Headquarters of Civil Defense and Emergency Situations on liquidation of accidents, the electronic ecological screen of Krasnoyarsk, the first line of expert geoinformation system for the analysis of freshet situations are created [more...].
  2. Technologies of modeling for the research and examination of large hydroelectric power stations, technologies of estimation of risks of accidents in large technical systems and industrial production of the region are developed [more...].
  3. Mathematical model of an emergency of technical systems that takes into account processes of the degradation of parameters, the accumulation of damages, the kind of a limiting condition and scripts of development of the accident is developed. The circuit of modeling of intense — deformed condition of constructions in conditions of a developing emergency is offered. Classification of types of emergencies and features of general and local intense — deformed condition of construction elements of potentially dangerous objects is carried out [more...].
  4. Statistical estimation of risks of nature and man-caused Emergency Situations (ES) in Krasnoyarsk Region is carried out. The region has a wide spectrum of sources of danger resulting in occurrence of Emergency Situations. They include chemically dangerous objects, large metallurgical manufactures, storehouses of mineral oil, dams of hydroelectric power station, large railway junctions, nature disasters, etc. [more...].
