Head of department

Karepova Evgeniya Dmitrievna, Candidate of Science in Phys. and Math.

Description

The department was formed in 2001 to provide theoretical and applied works in computational hydrodynamics.

Main directions of research:

  • numerical modeling of hydrophysical processes in rivers and channels (supervisor Doctor of Science in Phys. and Math., Professor V. M. Belolipetsky);
  • development of the method of particles for the study of viscous flows with surface tension (supervisor Doctor of Science in Phys. and Math., Professor A. M. Frank);
  • numerical modeling of data geomonitoring for the study of sea natural disasters (supervisor Doctor of Technical Science K. V. Simonov).
