Technical base of the institute
Currently, the Institute of computational modeling of SB RAS uses in scientific calculations universal computing cluster (400 computing cores, 14 TFlops), a computing server based on the CUDA architecture (8X NVIDIA Tesla C2050, 8.24 TFlops) and a computing server architecture Intel MIC (2x Intel Xeon Phi, 2.3 TFlops).
With the support of the NATO scientific program grant received by Institute of Biophysics SB RAS a project of the fibre-optical flow line (FOFL), connecting the organizations of Krasnoyarsk Scientific Centre SB RAS, was created.
Impulse model of MHD-generator
The impulse model of MHD-generator is intended for the research of the T-layer and magnetic field interaction in problems of transformation of the thermal energy into electric and control of the flow in the ducts with the help of the magnetic field.
The thermovacuum stand is intended for the research of thermophysical processes in vacuum environment.
Technical base is represented in the year reports of ICM SB RAS. (Available in Russian only.)
