Professional activity |
The field of Shkutin's researches is the mechanics of a deformable solid body. His monography [1] develops a new direction of the mechanics — a nonlinear moment theory of elasticity. Nonlinear kinematics of the Kosser's moment body developed by the author is applied to the Koshi's body and is used for the construction of new nonlinear models of the deformation of thin bodies (rods and coverings) [1, 2]. The models introduct nonlinear deformations with independent fields of finite movings and finite turns. The free turns of cross fibres derivate the deformations of a cross shift. Within the formulated models the ramified solutions of nonlinear problems of quasi-static deformation of rods, of plates and bodies are received [3,4,5].
