USKD — The Uniform System of Keeping Directories
Purpose of the system
Creation, filling, updating and formation of the copies of directories and classifiers
Basic functions
- creation of the structure of directories
- input of the data into reference tables
- creation of the hierarchical contents
- import / export of reference information
- representation of the data in view of conditions and links between directories
Elements of structure of the directory
- a linear table — a table containing proper reference data
- contents — a hierarchical structure for the data of the linear table
- a table of properties — a table containing additional information attached to the objects of the linear table
- a table of links — a table containing the information on the links between records of the linear tables of two directories
Features of the system
- automatically formed, not repeating key meanings (serial numbers)
- support of validities for the records of directories
- opportunity of formation of multiple hierarchies for the reference data
- grouping of the directories on sections
- using conditions of viewing and main directories for representation of the data in tables
