A thermophysical model of a space vehicle of non-hermetic construction is created and researched. A package of applied programs is used when developing new designs of satellites.
As soon as space vehicle building develops a transition to designing and manufacturing of a new generation of space vehicles (SV) that have a non-hermetic construction becomes more important. Such SV have a smaller weight, a higher reliability and a period of active state till 15 years. At the same time such construction of SV shows rigid requirements to the maintenance of a thermal mode. The Institute of Computational Modeling of Siberian Branch of Russian Academy of Science develops a package of applied programs for calculation of thermal modes of space vehicles of non-hermetic construction moving on an arbitrary orbit in view of effective thermal capacity of the construction and devices, thermal resistance of contact units and variable heat conductivity of radiating panels. The package of applied programs is introduced in Academician M. F. Reshetnev Scientific-Production Association of Applied Mechanics and is used when developing new designs of satellites.
