Technical base of the instituteSupercomputerCurrently, the Institute of computational modelling of SB RAS uses in scientific calculations universal computing cluster (400 computing cores, 14 TFlops), a computing server based on the CUDA architecture (8X NVIDIA Tesla C2050, 8.24 TFlops) and a computing server architecture Intel MIC (2x Intel Xeon Phi, 2.3 TFlops). Impulse model of MHD-generatorThe impulse model of MHD-generator is intended for the research of the T-layer and magnetic field interaction in problems of transformation of the thermal energy into electric and control of the flow in the ducts with the help of the magnetic field.
