Analysis of wavy seismic fields generated by the electromagnetic pulse source «Yenisei» in heterogeneous soil massifs during geological exploration in the conditions of northern regions of Eastern Siberia

Description
The main goal of the project is to solve problems of optimizing the mechanical system of an electromagnetic pulse source of seismic oscillations «Yenisei» in order to increase the resolution of seismic data during exploration work in various conditions — in the marshy taiga areas, in conditions of solid surface ground, on the shelf — in open water and in the presence of ice cover, characteristic of the Arctic coast. To solve the problems it is planned to apply the author's software complexes, developed by the project team during 15 years and registered in Rospatent, for the analysis of wave processes in blocky-layered geomaterials. The software complexes are oriented on multiprocessor computer systems (supercomputers) of high performance, allow to perform parallel computations on record-breaking fine grids with accuracy unattainable for ordinary workstations, but they require adaptation of programs to specific features of the problems. The relevance and scientific novelty of research are determined by the fact that methods and technologies of digital supercomputer modeling will be applied to the analysis of the seismic source «Yenisei» for the first time. Interdisciplinarity consists in combining two scientific directions: transition to digital (supercomputer) technologies and increasing the efficiency of hydrocarbon production. As a result of the project, software will be developed for mathematical modeling of wave fields generated by means of the electromagnetic pulse source. Analysis of the calculated data will allow formulating recommendations on optimization of the mechanical system of the seismic source «Yenisei» to improve the accuracy and details of seismic data during exploration work in the northern territories of the Krasnoyarsk Region.
